How to add photos and videos to GlowBauble
GlowBauble is a video Christmas bauble that you personalise at home. It can show your photographs and play videos with sound. Your order does not need to include personal files: choose and transfer your memories after your bauble arrives.
Choose a memory that works on a small screen
Start with a clear photo or a short video in which the person, pet or important detail is easy to see. A close-up of a face will usually be easier to enjoy than a wide scene with lots of tiny details. For a video message, choose a clip where the voice is easy to hear.
Keep a copy of the original on your phone or computer. Preview the memory on the bauble before wrapping it as a gift, especially if you have cropped or edited it.
Cable or Bluetooth: two transfer options
You can add photos and videos by cable or Bluetooth. The video below demonstrates the cable method. Use the setup instructions supplied with your GlowBauble for the connection steps and any software required for your device.
For the cable method, follow the demonstrated connection process and your supplied instructions, select your saved media and transfer it. For Bluetooth, follow the supplied pairing instructions before selecting your photos or videos. The demonstration above shows a cable transfer, not Bluetooth pairing.
Check the result before giving your gift
- Open the photo or play the video on the bauble.
- Check that the face or detail you want to show is visible.
- If your video includes a message, check its audio on the bauble.
- Keep the setup instructions with the gift so its recipient can add new memories later.
Can I change the photos and videos later?
Yes. You can replace your memories at home. A family Christmas clip today could become a birthday message or a favourite holiday photo later. You can also display the bauble on its removable base rather than hanging it on a tree.
